2. Main point

What do you do? = What’s your job? – お仕事は何ですか

I’m a member of staff at Little World – リトル・ワルドの社員ですよ。

注: What do you do? と What are you doing? の意味は全く違います。

What do you do?  I am studying English. ← 間違っています。

What does your father do? – お父さんの仕事はなんですか

He’s a system engineer – 彼はシステム・エンジニアです

What does your brother do? – お兄さん (弟でも良い)の仕事は? 彼はプログラマです。


3. Your turn. You can change the underlined word (brother / sister / best friend / cousin…)

What are you doing?

I’m _______________.

What do you do?

I’m a ________________.

What does your mother do?

He’s/She’s a _______________.

What does your best friend do?

He’s/She’s a ______________________ .
